Moss and branches on wood panel

The ultimate art form is to make an artwork in partnership with The original creator himself. I’ve been meditating for months on co-creating with God and desiring a deeper relationship in my art making where it becomes a true partnership in the creation process. As I meditated upon this and constantly asked God for revelation and insight into what truly sparks my joy in art, I had a lightbulb moment where I realized that moss was one of the greatest things that I loved to paint and experience because it brings me to that secret place with God. Moss creates a sacred space for me. My desire is to create sacred spaces in my artwork for others to step into. And what greater way to co-create than to use creation itself as my medium elements to work with. Every element is real.

“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬
