BraveArt Show - Moss Art Workshop

ABOUT THE BRAVE ART SHOW:

BraveArt is a movement to gather and inform artists and musicians who wish to use their gifts as a positive force in the Earth to bring freedom and redemption into the lives of communities, families, and individuals. We are a community of artists and musicians that use our talents as a means to wage war on evil. We are warriors. We are heros. We are determined to make a difference in this world. 

At this BraveArt Pop-Up Art show we will be supporting Garden Gate Ranch with 30% of all art sales!  Garden Gate Ranch is an organization providing safe housing and restorative and transitional services for sexually-exploited women and their children.

This will be a place to connect with passionate artists and engage with the community. So come have some free coffee and enjoy some spectacular works of art all while raising awareness and funds for a great cause. We will have high top tables set around the event for guests to stand around and have a place to set their coffee, along with some unique music, creating a space within the art display for a fun social experience among artists and art lovers sharing passions. 

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

Learn to make your very own moss art with lush green preserved moss to bring some natural happiness into your home or office space! You’ll also have a fun-filled creative day with a professional artist and other passionate people learning a new skill. Plus, you'll be raising money for an amazing cause.

What you’ll get:

- Instruction and guidance from Iowa renowned professional artist Kathleen Joy

- 2-3 different kinds of preserved mosses to choose from for your piece

- Glue

- Gloves (to keep your hands from being stained)

- Pre-stained 8"x8" wood frame

- Lots of fun hanging out with a professional artist and other creative souls for a great time

What do YOU need to bring?

Mostly just yourself in old cloths….and sticks!

At your workshop, you will have your frame and moss provided, but if you want lovely sticks you’ll need to go on a walk in the woods! You can collect pieces from anywhere. Perhaps you want something in your art collected from a special location to your heart. Maybe a place of good memories so you can think on those wonderful memories when you see your art again.

REFUND POLICY ---

There are NO REFUNDS for an event ticket. There are many expenses that go into the planning and reservation of your spot so there will be no refunds and no exceptions even if you can't make the event. Thank you for your understanding.

Handicap accessibility:  There is a motorized chair that can take an individual up the one flight of steps to get into the space. But unfortunately, there is no elevator or wheel chair ramp. We are heartbroken that this may mean some are unable to attend.
